Kittycatsoapbox started as the result of a love for our special little four-legged friends, an animal known throughout history for his ability to be a companion along with tons of personality to pack…the kitty cat.
From the hilarious Tom and Sylvester to the thrones of the most celebrated figures of Egyptian history, the kitty cat holds a special place on both the world’s stage and in the hearts of his owner. This alone gave us all the incentive we needed to name this site after a soap box designed specifically for the kitty cat because there’s no other species quite as adorably unpredictable as the feline.
Those of us who own a cat know very well the playful antics with which our four-legged friends use to entertain us throughout the day. We also understand that our kitties sometimes need to be left alone to bask in the solitude of his or her own huge imagination. How many times have you awoken and heard your kitty cat playing in the living room, his playtime filled with all kinds of strange noises only the cat knows how to produce? To many to count, I’m sure.

What we hope to accomplish with kittycatsoapbox is the production of a forum that will act as a type of hangout for cat lovers around the world through articles geared toward cat care, an online forum for owners, news about our favorite charities and rescue missions, and tons of cute kitty cat photos of course.

Every year millions of cats and dogs are put take to kill shelters and eventually put to sleep. Here at KCSB we encourage adoption whenever possible. As experienced cat owners and adoptees ourselves, we can vouch for the joy that comes from taking in a baby that had previously known only strife and despair.
